Maryland Chamber Invites Nominations for Board of Directors

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Chamber of Commerce — representing 7,000+ businesses from startups and small businesses to Fortune 500 companies — seeks exceptional leaders for our Board of Directors. Join Maryland's most influential CEOs and executives in driving policies that shape our state's economic landscape.
Nominations accepted now through March 6 for term beginning May 6

Board Member Criteria:
- Be or become a Maryland Chamber of Commerce member in good standing
- C-suite or senior executive position in member organization
- Ability to serve a one- or three-year term
- Maryland residence and/or business operation
- Commitment to attend four two-hour board meetings annually
- Participation in new board orientation (June 2026)
- Ability to vote in a quorum
- Willingness to serve without compensation
Board Member Criteria:
As part of our commitment to ensuring diverse perspectives are heard and represented in shaping Maryland’s business future, we are especially seeking applicants from industries like defense and aerospace, advanced manufacturing, life sciences, information technology and quantum technology.
We also encourage leaders from across Maryland, including Southern Maryland, Mountain Maryland and the Eastern Shore, to help ensure every corner of our state is represented in the important conversations shaping our economy.
