The Maryland Chamber of Commerce celebrates Maryland’s business leaders and their impact on our communities. Our awards recognize the outstanding leadership, innovation and civic contributions of individuals who help make Maryland stronger and support thriving businesses and communities.
Currently, we are honoring leaders through the Maryland Business Hall of Fame.
Maryland Business Hall of Fame
Since 2000, the Maryland Business Hall of Fame has celebrated the visionaries, innovators and leaders who have shaped Maryland’s business landscape. Inductees are recognized not only for extraordinary professional success but also for their lasting impact on communities, employees and the state’s economic vitality. Membership in the Hall of Fame represents the pinnacle of achievement in Maryland business — honoring those whose leadership inspires others and whose contributions leave a legacy for generations to come.
Past Awards
Public Service Award
Our annual Public Service Award honors a singular outstanding public servant for her or his contributions to help advance Maryland’s economy and quality of life. Without question, this is an elite but essential group of dedicated individuals.
Rising Star Award
The Rising Star Award honors a motivated future leader or leaders, age 40 or under, inspiring today’s business community. This individual is driven and willing to do the hard work to propel their business, employees or colleagues, and community to even greater success.
Community Impact Award
Presented in partnership with Maryland Nonprofits, the Community Impact Award recognizes Maryland businesses that embody an overall spirit of community service through contributions of time, leadership, resources and/or funding in support of local nonprofits and the communities they serve.
