Announcing Maryland Business Outlook 2024 Featuring Keynote Speaker Governor Wes Moore

ANNAPOLIS, Md. — The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that Governor Wes Moore will provide keynote remarks at the 2024 Maryland Business Outlook event, taking place on Thursday, February 29, 2024, in Annapolis, Maryland.

This annual gathering (previously known as State of the State) provides a unique platform for business leaders, executives and policymakers to share insights, discuss key economic themes and explore opportunities for the state's business community.

Confirmed Speakers:

Keynote Speaker Governor Wes Moore: Governor Moore will provide keynote remarks during the event, sharing his vision for Maryland's economic success and competitiveness. His insights into some of Maryland’s most critical issues for business, including taxes, transportation funding, data privacy initiatives, military retirement tax relief and economic competitiveness, promise to be a highlight of the event.

Comptroller Brooke Lierman: Comptroller Lierman will provide valuable insights into Maryland's business landscape, highlighting critical information and important trends regarding economic growth based on the Comptroller’s recently published State of the Economy report.

Treasurer Dereck E. Davis: Treasurer Davis will share perspectives on Maryland's economic climate and will provide updates on initiatives his office is spearheading. Treasurer Davis's insights will help business leaders shape their initiatives and priorities.
