Maryland Chamber Seeking Nominations for Small Business of the Year Awards
The Maryland Chamber of Commerce is seeking nominations for its 2008 Small Business of the Year awards. Nominate your business, or another deserving business, today. The deadline for submitting nominations is Friday, March 28.
The finalists and winners will be recognized during the Small Business of the Year Awards Luncheon on Friday, June 6 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport. The judging panel for the Small Business of the Year Awards program is comprised of representatives from Maryland’s business media.
Nominations are being accepted in five categories:
- Small Business of the Year (1-5 Employees)
- Small Business of the Year (6-50 Employees)
- Small Business of the Year (51-200 Employees)
- Non-Profit Partner in Business Award
- Large Company Partner in Business Award
Nominees must be a member of the state or a local chamber of commerce, have a permanent business location with employee(s) in Maryland, and have been in operation for a minimum of two years.
To be eligible, a nominee must submit a complete nomination package, including a letter of support from a chamber of commerce or Maryland based business or trade organization, the nomination form and up to four additional pages addressing the awards criteria, and an optional five additional pages of support materials (i.e. news stories, testimonials, etc.)
