This bill would have required the State Board of Education to develop curriculum content for a course in financial literacy and mandated county boards of education to implement specified curriculum content in specified high schools. Students would have been required to complete a financial literacy course in order to graduate from high school.
History: In 2010 SB 1030 was withdrawn by the sponsor.
