Position Summary: The Maryland Chamber opposes this legislation because it may double mitigation requirements. It will also impact priority funding areas. The Maryland Chamber would prefer to see a collaborative effort by stakeholders on sustainable forest, rather than the implementation of this legislation, as currently drafted.
