Mark your calendars for this procurement fair and small business awards luncheon on June 1 at the Hilton Baltimore BWI Airport hotel. Attendees will:

• Connect with Purchasing Representatives: The procurement fair will give small and minority-owned employers the opportunity to meet face-to-face with procurement agents with Maryland's largest companies.

• Honor Small Business Achievement: The Small Business of the Year Awards program will recognize the dedication, innovation and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by Maryland's small businesses. The program will celebrate the success of three small businesses and one non-profit.
  • Maryland Chamber Announces Small Business of the Year Awards Finalists

• Network: There will be plenty of time for networking, including an hour specifically devoted to it, 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., and a break out session entitled, "Make Your Contacts Count: How to Build Relationships and Help Your Business Grow," conducted by Marcia Hall, from Reputation Counts.

• Browse the Small Business Trade Show: The trade show will feature exhibitors with products and services tailored to meet the needs of small and mid-sized businesses.
